VPBank to Cease Support for All Magnetic Stripe Debit Card Transactions from July 1, 2025

1. Effective July 1, 2025, VPBank will no longer support any transactions made with international magnetic stripe debit cards issued by VPBank.

2. The VPBank system will automatically deactivate magnetic stripe cards. Concurrently, VPBank encourages customers to destroy their physical cards to prevent the exposure of personal information contained on the card.

3. VPBank has provided FREE replacement with chip technology cards. If you have not yet converted your card, please register by: logging into the VPBank NEO app and following the instructions here, or contacting any VPBank branch.

Chip technology cards are designed with modern, secure technology compliant with VCCS standards. They store information using a microchip (instead of just a magnetic stripe) and generate a unique code for each transaction, providing better protection for personal data and preventing fraudulent activities.
