VPBankSME Named "Banking for Women Initiative of the Year 2025"

VPBankSME, the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) segment of Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank, HoSE: VPB), has been honored with the prestigious "Banking for Women Initiative of the Year 2025" award. This recognition, presented by Asian Banking & Finance magazine at the ABF Retail Banking Awards 2025 held on July 4th in Singapore, highlights VPBankSME's unwavering commitment to empowering Vietnamese women entrepreneurs.

This accolade reaffirms VPBank's pioneering role and strong dedication to empowering, accompanying, and providing comprehensive support for women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises (WSMEs) in Vietnam.

Since 2017, VPBankSME has provided practical and meaningful support to WSMEs through various initiatives, including loan preferential programs, the development of the WE credit card specifically for women-owned businesses with attractive benefits and privileges, organizing business matching series, and conducting in-person and online training courses to enhance management capabilities. Additionally, meaningful seminars have been held to help women entrepreneurs balance their careers and family life. Through these initiatives, by the end of 2024, the total outstanding credit extended to WSMEs reached VND 18,581 billion, an increase of 18.9%.

To further support and empower the WSME community, VPBankSME recently launched the comprehensive "Launchpad for Women Entrepreneurs" solution package, built on four core pillars: Finance, Technology, Trade, and Knowledge.

This integrated solution offers superior financial support, such as unsecured loans of up to VND 3 billion, preferential increases in loan limits by up to 20%, an additional 5% increase in mortgage loan limits, and the WE Platinum credit card with unlimited cashback privileges and a 55-day interest-free period. It also includes trade incentives such as complimentary preferred account numbers, free domestic and international money transfers, and preferential exchange rates and guarantee fees.

Concurrently, the package provides fee waivers and reductions for tools that digitalize business processes, establish online storefronts, and integrate convenient payment gateways. VPBankSME also offers the "Business Breakthrough with AI" course, valued at VND 6.8 million, designed to help modern women entrepreneurs enhance their operational capabilities and apply technology effectively.

In addition to these "launchpads," VPBank has also introduced the "Get Quick Capital - Receive Quality Gifts" preferential program, exclusively for WSMEs borrowing from the bank for the first time, offering a gift valued at VND 1.5 million to encourage a strong start to their business journey.
